How soon after a personal injury accident
should I call you?
Call as soon as possible. Do not give the other person's insurance
company a statement until you have consulted with a lawyer. I make
a point of returning phone calls and emails as soon as possible. If
you have suffered a personal injury, you need to know right away what
insurance coverage is in place to cover your medical expenses and
lost wages. Sometimes you need to know this before you need to know
what liability insurance the defendant may have to pay your personal
injury claim.

Will I
get to talk to a lawyer if I call?
Yes!

What
is my claim worth?
This question can only be answered after a thorough investigation
of the facts concerning your accident and the injuries you received.
Any lawyer who tells you he can immediately assign a value to your
case before appropriate inquiries have been made with all witnesses
and your treating doctors is simply not being honest with you.
After an appropriate investigation into all relevant facts I will
be glad to discuss with you what I think is the settlement range of
your claim and the potential jury verdict range if your case must
be tried.

Can
I recover if the other driver had no insurance?
Maybe. If you have uninsured motorist coverage, you can recover money
for your medical bills and pain and suffering even if the other driver
has no insurance.

How
do I know if I have a valid claim?
You don't. Many times a lay person is unaware of rights they have
under the law. Only a lawyer viewing your case from your point of
view and with your interest uppermost in his mind can tell you if
you have a case. DO NOT RELY upon insurance adjusters, well meaning
friends, coworkers, adverse parties, or anyone else to tell you whether
you have a case or not. EVERY CASE IS DIFFERENT. Your case deserves
a careful evaluation before a decision is made if it is appropriate
to proceed with a claim or lawsuit.
Contact me and we will discuss your case. My consultation on a personal
injury case is always free.

Will pursuing
my personal injury case take up much of my time?
I realize your time is important, so I won't waste it. I am prepared
to devote all the time necessary for you to be properly represented.
You should be prepared to assist my office so we can achieve maximum
results for you.

Will I
have to go to trial?
The majority of personal injury cases do not go to trial. I try to
settle cases before suit is filed. If I find it necessary to file
suit, I prepare that case as if it will certainly go to trial. This
is the only way to move the defendant's insurance company toward settlement.
If your case is not settled, we will be prepared to try it and so
should you.

Do I need
a Georgia personal injury attorney?
Yes! Yes! Yes! In order to settle your claim you will have to deal
with insurance adjustors. They do this every day. You do not. They
are pros. You are not equipped by training or experience to deal with
these people. You need someone representing your interest with equal
skill. If you do not hire me; hire another attorney who is experienced
in representing accident victims. Only an experienced attorney can
help you get a fair settlement.
